Dustin Robert Hahn, aged 42 of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio, following a brief illness.
Born February 21, 1981 in Logan, he was the son of Elizabeth Ann “Libby” (Vollmer) Hahn and the late James Raphael “Jim” Hahn (2022).
Dustin was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Logan, where he also took pride in serving breakfasts with the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed raising rabbits on his family’s farm. Dustin was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns and was always quick to talk about their games, good or bad. One of his crowning achievements was being part of the state champion Special Olympics basketball team from Logan. His easy-going and loyal personality will be missed by all those who knew him.
Besides his mother, Dustin is survived by two brothers, Fr. William Phillip Hahn of Columbus, Ohio and James Michael “Jim” (Nicole) Hahn of Logan; several aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and acquaintances.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 21, 2023 at St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio, officiated by Fr. William P. Hahn.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan.
Visitation will be held at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 5-7 PM, followed by a Rosary Service.
