Eunice Delores Jurgensmier

Eunice Delores Jurgensmier, age 87 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born February 21, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Della Ellis “D.E.” and Margaret Lena (Euler) Hughes.

Eunice had worked for Hocking County Childrens Services and had also worked as secretary for the former Quentin Cadd Insurance Agency.

Eunice is survived by one son, James Steven “Steve” Jurgensmier of Logan, Ohio; one daughter, Cathy Sue Jurgensmier of Logan; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ernest Lee (Susan) Hughes of Logan.

Besides her parents, Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jurgie” Howard Jurgensmier (2005).

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Joshua N. Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio.

Friends may call from 12 noon until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
