Georgia Kathryn "Katie" (Davis) Burcham

Georgia Kathryn “Katie” Burcham, age 90 of Logan, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Carlin House in Logan, Ohio.

Born January 31, 1932 in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George Samuel and Mae June (Coakley) Davis.

Katie retired as a long-time nurses aide, having started her career at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in 1966, where she received the Employee of the Month Award in October of 1981. She was also a Sunday School teacher for many years at the former EUB Church in Logan.

She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Lynn “Becky” Burcham-Harris; four sons, Robert S. “Robb” (Carla) Burcham, Richard L. “Rich” (Lucille) Burcham, James R. “Jamie” Burcham and Brian D. (Bonnie) Burcham, all of Logan; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Besides her parents, Katie was proceeded in death by her husband, Noel Reed Burcham (2010); son, Noel Randolph “Randy” Burcham; grandson, Noel Randolph Burcham II; and one sister, Pauline M. Campbell.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with Rev. Douglas A. Stull officiating.

Burial will follow in Scotts Creek Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
