Gretchen Ann Sater

Gretchen Ann Sater, age 48 of Rockbridge, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Hocking Valley Community Emergency Room in Logan, Ohio.

Born July 11, 1972 in Chillicothe, Ohio, she was the daughter of Paul Martin and Helen Joanne (Duerr) Sater of Rockbridge.

Gretchen was an administrative assistant at Logan Amanda Manufacturing Company having served over 20 years. She formerly attended the First Presbyterian Church in Logan. Gretchen loved drawing and cooking.

Besides her parents, Gretchen is survived by one brother, Bruce A. (Stacy) Sater of Rockbridge; was a loving aunt to three nieces, Zoe, Chloe and Sophie Sater and one nephew, Alex Rose of Columbus, Ohio; Two uncles, Jerry Pausch of Leesburg, Ohio and Dale Duerr of Bolivar, Ohio; two aunts, Ann Sauers of Rockbridge, Ohio and Shirley Sater of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; and was very loving to many close cousins.

Gretchen was preceded in death by two aunts, Claudia Duerr and Lenora Pausch; and two uncles, Bob Sauers and Nolan Sater.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, Ohio with Pastor Nathan Loudon officiating.

Friends may call from 2:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Gretchen’s memory to the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association, 300 S. Riverside Plaza Ste 1200 Chicago, IL 60606.

Arrangements are by Roberts Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio.
