Harriet Joan (Woltz) Bartow

Harriet Joan Bartow, aged 78 of Logan, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Born May 12, 1947 in Lancaster, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Nelson and Marie (Yantes) Woltz.

During life, Harriet was a loving homemaker and a secretary. She was a proud member of Logan Eagles 2168, Logan Moose 873, and Logan Amvets Post 1776. She was an extremely skilled musician, playing a multitude of instruments ranging from guitar to organ. Harriet was also an avid pool player, as well as a talented photographer and crocheter.

Harriet is survived by her loving husband, James F. Bartow; daughter, Kathy M. Nungester-Bartow of Logan, Ohio and James A. Bartow of Logan, Ohio; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Harriet was preceded in death by her brother and sister

A funeral service will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio at 1 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Burial will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Good-Hope Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home on Friday, January 16, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, the Bartow family suggests donations in Harriet’s name may be made to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130.
