Harriett Genevieve Dicken, aged 87 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Embassy of Logan, Ohio.
Born January 3, 1937 in Logan, she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Edna G. (Carter) Cottrill.
In addition to being a loving homemaker, Harriett worked as secretary of the First Presbyterian Church in Logan, of which she was a member. She also served as ASCS secretary, secretary of Logan Rehab Services, and was a proud member of the Venus Chapter #76 Order of the Eastern Star.
Harriett is survived by her daughters, Robin R. (Rodney L.) Carr of Logan, Ohio and Rachel R. (Keith W.) Leffler of Logan, Ohio; son, Douglas J. (Christi) Dicken of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren, Alexander Hubbard, Mackenzie (Austin) Russell, Courtney (Owen Manning) Hattle, Samuel (Maxeen Ramlo) Carr, Laura (Maxim) Perel, Lucy (Roni Clark) Leffler, and Logan Leffler; great-grandchildren, Ryker Russell and Lavender Leffler-Clark; sisters-in-law, Barbara Jo Brown of Logan, Ohio and Quinnette (Paul) Allender of Logan, Ohio; and brother-in-law, Carl (Carla) Dicken of logan, Ohio.
Besides her parents, Harriett was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Dicken; and her son, David J. Dicken.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio officiated by Pastor Jeff Ott and Reverend Lawrence R. Hoffmann. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, November 25, 2024, as well as from 10 AM until time of service on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Roberts Funeral Home.
