Helen Louise Smith, 87 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Logan, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the NHC Murfreesboro Care Center, Tennessee.
Born August 2, 1934 in Brookville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Raymond and Margaret (Goodyear) Welsch.
Helen took pride in being a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother to her four daughters. She kept an immaculate home and was known for her delicious cooking and pie baking. She was by her husband’s side for 35 years as he pastored the Church of Jesus Christ in God in Albion, Pennsylvania.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna (Gerald) Whisman, Melinda Robinson and Patricia (Bryan) Yeske; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Cummings; and son-in-law, Paul Rea.
Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Herbert Leroy Smith (2009); daughter, Margaret Rea (2012); infant son, Jimmy Smith; son-in-law, Michael Robinson; three brothers, Victor, Raymond and Gerald Welsch.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 26, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with grandson, Aaron Yeske officiating.
Burial will follow in Knollwood Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
