James Edward Marcum

James Edward Marcum, aged 57 of Logan, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio.

Born November 29, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Sylvia Carlene (Adams) Marcum and the late Flemon S. Marcum.

James was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed working on cars, fishing and woodworking.

Besides his mother, James is survived by two brothers, Gil Marcum of Galena, Ohio and David (Annie) Marcum of Logan; two sisters, Sherry (Ben) Kinser of Athens, Ohio and Melissa Miller of Logan; and many aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Roberts Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Brice Utt.

Visitation will be held prior, from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Burial will follow in Webb Cemetery- Starr Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio.
