James Thomas “Jim” Kuhn, aged 87 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.
Born December 20, 1936 at home in Benton Township, Hocking County, Ohio, he was the son of the late John Forman and Anna Margaret (McBride) Kuhn.
Jim worked as the local Sohio distributor for numerous years. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio.
Jim is survived by his daughters, Linda Catherine (Dee Vermillion) Kuhn of Port Charlotte, Florida and Rebecca “Becki” Susan Kuhn of Raleigh, North Carolina; great-granddaughter, Anna Margaret (Skyler) McCutcheon-Kuhn; special friends, Claudia, A.J., and Jamie Nihiser; brother, Charles J. (Bonnie) Kuhn of Sugar Grove, Ohio; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Anne Donaldson and Mary Frances Edinger; brothers, John Edward Kuhn and Robert D. “Bob” Kuhn; sister, Catherine Meyer; and granddaughter, Jennifer Rebecca McCutcheon.
A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father Jean Luc Zadroga was held at 12 PM at St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio on Monday, October 14, 2024. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the Kuhn family suggests donations in Jim’s memory may be made to St. John Catholic Church, 351 North Market Street, Logan, OH 43138, or Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, OH 43130.
