Janet Faye (Brown) Shriner

Janet Faye Shriner, aged 84 of Logan, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Carlin House in Logan, Ohio.  

Born April 3, 1938 in Logan, she was the daughter to the late Roy Gilbert and Bertha Mae (Hogan) Brown.

Janet retired from the WIC program of the Hocking County Health Department and volunteered at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. She attended Kline Memorial UM Church and was a member of the Moose Auxiliary in Logan. Janet was an avid gardener and loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by two daughters, Troy Lynn Patton and Christy Ann Shriner of Logan; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Shriner; son, Todd Shriner; brothers, John, Roy and Lewis Brown; and sisters, Mary Holcomb, Frieda Thompson and Barb Wyckoff.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
