Jason Stephen Oney

Jason Stephen Oney, age 42 of Logan, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital Emergency Room.

Born October 22, 1979 in Columbus, Ohio he was the son of Calvin Eugene and Alberta Ann (Johnson) Oney of Logan, Ohio.

Jason had worked as a welder for TNT Equipment in Somerset, Ohio and also worked at Arctic Express in Logan. He was a member of the Hocking County Fish and Game Association and was an avid Ohio State University fan. Jason enjoyed camping, golf, and guns. He said he always felt closer to God in the outdoors.

Besides his parents, Jason is survived by his wife, Kisa Dawn Oney; one daughter, Kayley Dawn Walker of Logan and his K-9, Charlie; one brother, Justin Mark (Andrea) Oney of Logan; and two nieces, Emilie Mae and Grace Ann Marie Oney.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 1-5 PM at the Izaak Walton Lodge- 29740 Blosser Rd, Logan.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made in Jason’s memory to The American Heart Association at www.heart.org or Hocking County Fish and Game Association, P.O. Box 1083, Logan, Ohio 43138.
