Jason Nathaniel Shumaker

Jason Nathaniel Shumaker, aged 42 of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away at his residence on  December 20, 2024.

Born August 14, 1982 in Lancaster, Ohio, he was the son of Mary Ann (McCune) Gordon and Craig Nathaniel Shumaker.

Jason was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was an avid fisherman, whether it was cold, hot, rainy, or dark.

Besides his parents, Jason is survived by two daughters, Arianna Shumaker of West Virginia and Alexandria Shumaker of Cambridge, Ohio; sister, Gail Schrader of Logan, Ohio, and grandparents, Richard and Margaret Shumaker.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio, officiated by Joshua N. Martin.

Inurnment will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens- Good Hope Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio, where a military service will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held prior, from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
