Jennifer Lynn (Ahle) Blackston

Jennifer Lynn (Ahle) Blackston, aged 60 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio.

Born October 22, 1964 in Amesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Jacqueline (Doman) Ahle.

Jennifer had previously worked as an aide at Echoing Meadows. One of the many Ahle girls, Jennifer was fun, kind, and a champ at all games. She was a member of Amesville Presbyterian Church.

Jennifer is survived by her sons, Brandon Blackston of Stewart, Ohio and Joel (Britney) Blackston of Rockbridge, Ohio; six grandchildren, Faith, Cayden, Gracie, Destiney, Greyson, and Addilyn; brother, Steven Ahle of Summersville, North Carolina; sisters, Linda Woodhouse of Clearwater, Florida, Donna Springer of Clearwater, Florida, Cynthia (Al) Montle of Guysville, Ohio, Wanda (Ed) Pennington of Logan, Ohio, and Mary (David) Liberatore of Blacklick, Ohio; her trusty aide and friend, Cheyenne Vincent; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Jennifer was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Vaughn Blackston (2022); sons, Daniel and Tyler Blackston; daughter, Breanna Blackston; sister-in-law, Lisa Ahle; brother-in-law, Thomas Woodhouse; and nephew, Stevie Ahle.

A Celebration of Jennifer’s life will be held at a later date.
