Joachim William Nihiser, aged 45, of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Born March 1, 1978 in Logan, he was the son of Robert Lee “Bob” and the late Penelope Susan “Penny” (Miller) Nihiser (2022).
Joachim was a heavy equipment operator for over 20 years and loved it. Above all, being a father and husband always came first.
Besides his father, he is survived by his loving wife, Karen Nicole “Nikki” (Tigner) Nihiser; two sons, Castiel and Joachim; one brother, Jeremy (Lanie) Nihiser; three sisters, Sabrina (Mark) Keels, Corinne Nihiser, and Felicia (Bryan) Emerson; and his nieces and nephews.
Besides his mother, Joachim was preceded in death by his in-laws, Robert “Bobby” and Karen Tigner.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 14, 2023 at St. John Catholic Church in Logan, officiated by Father Stephen L. Krile. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joachim’s memory may be made to Roberts Funeral Home- 60 W. Hunter St., Logan, OH 43138 to assist with funeral expenses.
