John Hockingberry Obituary
John Robert Hockingberry, aged 82 of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 31, 2023 at his residence.
Born July 19, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ray R. and Madonna (Guinsler) Hockingberry.
John was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era. Following his time in the military, he worked for Borden Inc. in Columbus, Ohio. John was a member of the Shriners, Masons and Amvets in Logan and and also served with the Hocking County Honor Guard for many years. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Caroline (Spahr) Hockingberry; two sons, Jeff (Carolyn Lamp) Hockingberry and Gary (Jenn) Hockingberry; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Per John’s request, there will be no services held at this time.
Services are by Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, Ohio.
