John Whitcraft King, aged 71 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.
Born December 30, 1952 in Lancaster, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roger Nebergall and Nova Katherine (Anderson) King.
During life, John was a factory worker at Mondi Packaging in Lancaster, Ohio before retiring. He then worked at Logan Clay Products. John was also a proud member of the Hocking County Fish and Game Association.
John is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Pamela Sue (Skiver) King; son, Timothy Nelson (Nicole) King of Pickerington, Ohio; grandson, Lincoln C. King; brothers, Roger E. King of Logan, Ohio and Robert M. (Barbara) King of Oxford, Mississippi; mother-in-law, Iris B. Skiver; and sister-in-law, Debbie King of Moultrie, Georgia.
Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Richard King, his sister-in-law, Twila King; and his father-in-law, Richard Skiver.
A funeral service officiated by Pastor Tom Gates and Pastor Phillip Stevens will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio at 11 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Roberts Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the King family suggests donations in John’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choosing.
