John Lee "Jack" Primmer

John Lee “Jack” Primmer, aged 70 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital, in Columbus, Ohio.  

Born December 26, 1952 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of the late James Bernard and Katherine Magdalen (Miller) Primmer.

Jack worked at Hordis Brothers in Lancaster, Ohio for 23 years before retiring from Prim-Joe Trucking after 20 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Georgina Lee (McDaniels) Primmer; son, Bryan Eugene (Heather Blackstone) of Logan, Ohio; daughter, Jackie Anne (Ralph) Zugg of Marion, Ohio; four grandsons, Chase Zugg of Marion, Ohio, Brock (Lexy) Zugg of Marion, Ohio, Jordan Primmer of Logan, Ohio, and David Tuerck of Marion, Ohio; three granddaughters, Ariel (Dustin) McKee of Marion, Ohio, Kandice Canady of Marion, Ohio, and Bryanna Primmer of Logan, Ohio; seven great-grandchildren, Liam McKee, Kainan McKee, Hattie McKee, Aliza Zugg, Jaxton Zugg, Josiah Zugg, and Stella Zugg; three brothers, Richard (Josephine) Primmer of Tarlton, Ohio, James (Connie) Primmer of Woodland, Washington, and Fred (Sue) Primmer of Crooksville, Ohio; and four sisters, Judy McDaniel of Logan, Ohio, Regina (Robert) Walls of Logan, Ohio, Nancy (Dave) Shaner of New Lexington, Ohio, and Carol (John) Tremper of Logan, Ohio.

Besides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Dawn Primmer, and his brother, Joe Primmer.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 25, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, officiated by Deacon Donald A. Robers.

Inurnment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday, August 24, 2023 and 10-11 AM the day of the service at the Funeral Home.

Services are by Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, Ohio.
