John Steinbrink

John Rick Steinbrink, age 66 of Rockbridge, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 after a brief illness at the Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio. Born March 19, 1945 in Athens, Ohio, he was the son of the late John and Creta (Rutherford) Steinbrink.Rick retired in January after forty-five years from Tansky Auto in Lancaster, Ohio, where he had started out washing cars when he was just sixteen and worked his way up to sales and finally becoming general manager. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Joyce (Ruff) Steinbrink; three children, Sarah (Kevin) Deibert of Delaware, Ohio, Thomas (Jessica) Steinbrink of Granview Heights, Ohio and Annette (Jeff) Talbert of Buchtel, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ella & Kylie Deibert, Zach, Jakob and Abby Talbert; one sister, Caroline (Rick) Schein of Nelsonville, Ohio; two brothers, Larry (Joy) Steinbrink of Nelsonville, Ohio and Roger (Shirley) Steinbrink of Lancaster, Ohio; Brother-in-Law & Sister-in-Law, Joe (Helen) Ruff of New Holland, Ohio and Sister-in-Law & Brother-in-Law, Janie (Dick) Shaw of Chillicothe, Ohio. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by hisBrother and Sister-in-Law, Bud (Lorine) Steinbrink. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Trinity Sponagle Lutheran Church Sugar Grove, Ohio with Reverend Danny R. Koch officiating. Burial will follow in Sponagle Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Ohio.Friends may call Monday from 4-8pm at Roberts Funeral Home Logan, Ohio and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
