Joseph Timothy "Tim" Arnett

Joseph Timothy “Tim” Arnett, aged 70 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at Primrose of Lancaster, Ohio on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Born December 26, 1953 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of the late Carl Theodore and Sybil Elnora (Hayman) Arnett.

During life, Tim was the owner of Quality Motorland in Logan, Ohio. He had previously worked in law enforcement in Hocking and Pickaway Counties. Tim was a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era where he received the Army Commendation Medal. Tim loved his family dearly, and his favorite thing to do was play basketball with his children and grandchildren. He also greatly enjoyed fishing in his lake and was an avid supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Kim Leslie (Matan) Arnett; daughter, Andria (John) Entingh of Sugar Grove, Ohio; son, Jason (Jamie) Arnett of Logan, Ohio; six grandchildren, Abbi Evans, Ashanti Evans, Damon (Tiffani) Arnett, Brandon (Larissa) Arnett, Danielle (Dyllan) Chandler, and Kellie Arnett; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, David M. (Valerie) Arnett of Rockbridge, Ohio and Randy (Linda) Arnett of Logan, Ohio; sister, Melody F. (Fred Stufflebeam) Arnett of Logan, Ohio; and brothers-at-heart, Daniel (Bunny) Arnett and John (Beth) Cavinee.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Roberts Funeral Home, before a military service is conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard at 5 PM. Following the military service, visitation will continue until 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the Arnett family suggests donations in Tim’s memory may be made to the Logan High School Athletic Department, 14470 OH-328, Logan, OH 43138, and Berne Union Athletic Boosters, 506 North Main St., Sugar Grove, OH 43155.
