Juanita (Myers) Smith

Juanita Smith, age 76 of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio.  

Born August 18, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Howard Melvin and Anna Mary (Sealey) Myers.

Juanita retired from Walmart as a sales associate and helped establish the opening in 2001. She enjoyed reading the bible and spending time with her grandchildren.

Juanita is survived by two sons, James Christopher (Rebecca) Pritchett of Logan and Jason (Karen) William Cogar of Texas; one brother, Roger Myers of Mansfield; one sister, Lucile (Ken) Wright of Logan; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Juanita was preceded in death by her brother, Melvin Myers.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, officiated by Reverend Joe Edwards.

Burial will follow at New Fairview Memorial Gardens- Good Hope Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
