Judith Michele (Vermaaten) Teegardin

Judith Michele Teegardin, aged 60 of Newark, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Franklin Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Born February 29, 1964 in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry Edward and Hazel Jane Vermaaten.

During life, Judith was a foster parent. She loved crafts and bowling, but most loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Judith is survived by her daughter, Jacinda Brooks of Newark, Ohio; sons, Jack Scott of Lancaster, Ohio and Paul Teegardin of Newark, Ohio; five grandchildren, Kaiden, Blake, and Hyedrich Brooks, Aalayhy Kretzer, and Ryder Spencer; brothers, Jeff Vermaaten of Newark, Ohio, Joey Vermaaten of Newark, Ohio, and John (Rita) Vermaaten of Pataskala, Ohio; sisters, Jody Davis of Newark, Ohio and Jerri (Kenny) Scott of Newark, Ohio; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Vermaaten.

A graveside service for Judith will be held at Gore Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio at a later date.
