Kathy Sue (Schultz) Weaver

Kathy Sue Weaver, age 68 of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones.

Born August 23, 1953 in Logan, she was the daughter of the late Richard Neil and Jeanette Agnes (Weis) Schultz.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed tending to her flowers and birdwatching. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and Moose Lodge in Logan. Kathy was practically raised on the Mighty Muskingum River, where she spent many years at her family’s cabin swimming, boating and relaxing. She enjoyed cooking and was known as a “clean freak” by her family. Kathy’s favorite things to do included attending her grandkids sporting events and spending time with her family and favorite K-9 companion, Buster.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Jerold J. “Jerry” Weaver; one son, Jason Jerome (Michelle) Weaver of Logan; and two grandchildren, Jeromy J. and Maggie M. Weaver.

Besides her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Schultz and sisters-in-law, Ruthie Schultz and Peggy Weaver.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, officiated by Deacon Donald A. Robers.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery- Logan.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the funeral home.
