Kathy Lynn Williams

Kathy Lynn Williams, age 63 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio.

Born May 31, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lindley Leroy and Sylvia Dora (Nelson) Williams.

Kathy was a homemaker. She greatly enjoyed fishing. Kathy also enjoyed driving her car to explore scenic roads throughout the county. She was a fan of country music and especially Conway Twitty.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 45 years, William “Bill” Howard Williams; four sons, Steven (Yashira) Williams of Newark, Ohio, Kacy (Mary) Williams of Logan, Todd Williams of Logan, and Corey Williams of Columbus, Ohio; one daughter, Clarissa Jo Williams of Logan; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Lindley Williams Jr. and Clarence Williams, both of Newark, Ohio, and James and Wayne Nelson; and one sister, Ruth Ann Williams of Newark.

Besides her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by two brothers, Tim Canter and Brad Nelson.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 10, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Home – Logan, Ohio with Joshua N. Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in Morris Chapel Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Friends may call Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
