Larry Richmond McCormick Sr., age 77 of Sugar Grove, Ohio passed away October 15, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Larry was born in Lancaster, Ohio May 19, 1944 to the late Harry Hugh and Nellie Opal (Hunt) McCormick.
He was a 1962 graduate of Berne Union High School. Larry had retired from plumbing after 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, collecting and shooting guns, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Philadelphia Church of God.
Larry is survived by his wife, Ruth Kay (Roley) McCormick; his daughters, Felicia Kay (Joe) Cupoli of Hillard, Ohio and Julie Sue (Brad) Danison of New Straitsville, Ohio; his son, Larry Richmond (Chrystle) McCormick Jr. of Sugar Grove, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn E. Cupoli, Megan L. Danison, Colt R. McCormick, and Bailey R. McCormick; and his half-brothers, Francis Archer and Harold Archer, both of Lancaster, Ohio.
Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his half-brother, Donald Archer; his brother, Harry J. McCormick; and his sister, Mae A. McCormick.
Per his wishes, the family has chosen cremation services through Roberts Funeral Home of Logan, Ohio. There will be a celebration of life planned for a later date.
