Linda Sue Fain Monk (Knapp), age 62 of Logan, Ohio passed away September 22, 2021 from complications due to Covid-19 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.
Born December 4, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Tex Herbert and Ethel Mae (Keplar) Fain.
Linda formerly worked as a registered nurse at Foster Bridge Home Health in The Plains, Ohio before retirement. She was a devoted parishioner of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Maxville, loved music, and enjoyed spending time in nature. Most of all, she adored her eight beautiful grandchildren.
Linda is survived by three sons, Adam Joel (Claire) Monk of Westerville, Ohio, Eric Justin (Angela) Monk of Lancaster, and Brian Elliot Monk of Logan; one daughter, Brooke Elizabeth Gillespie of Logan; eight grandchildren, Livvy, Etta, Gavyn, Aiden, Jacob, Madilyn, Clark, and Charlee; one brother, Rick (Lisa) Fain of Newark, Ohio; two sisters, Brenda (Matthew) Roehrig of Pensacola, Florida and Tammy McClellan; and fiancé Ken Mutzner.
Besides her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Paul Fain.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Roberts Funeral Home – Logan, Ohio, officiated by Pastor Stephen R. Hubbard.
Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery, Maxville, Perry County, Ohio.
Friends may call from 12 noon until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
