Lisa Ann Kader (Reed), aged 61, of Sugar Grove, Ohio, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 22, 2026.
Born April 12, 1965, she was the daughter of Constance Ann Spergen and the late Thomas E. Kader.
Lisa began attending The Ohio State University in 1983 and studied education before working as an educator for 40 years, molding the minds of young people. She was a pillar of the Sugar Grove community for 50 years and will be remembered as a beloved educator who left a meaningful impact on all of her students. Lisa was a friend and mentor to all. In recent years, she began hosting foreign exchange students from Spain (Oli, Cova, and Lola). Her love, guidance, and mentorship can be felt across the world. Even before her time mentoring Spaniards, she helped mold her many nieces and nephews. Lisa was always a friend to everyone, no matter their circumstances. Outside of the classroom, Lisa loved hiking, going to Snow Shoe, and spending time with/hosting her family.
Besides her mother, Lisa is survived by her daughter, Bethany (Shane) Robinson; son, David (Kaylie) Kader; grandson, Seth Kader; siblings, Ellen Kader, Jeremy (Gina) Primmer, April Primmer, Jared (Megan) Primmer, and Amanda (Mike) Muncie; and 15 nieces and nephews.
