Margaret Baker Obituary

Margaret Dalene Baker, aged 62, of Logan, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio.

Born March 17, 1959 in Coshocton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late David Paul and Mary Margaret (Yates) Baker.

Dalene was a manager of the Family Dollar Store in Logan, Ohio. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Nelsonville, Ohio.

Dalene is survived by one brother, David Edwin (Esther) Baker of Logan, Ohio; two sisters, Anita Marie (James) Phillips of Logan, Ohio and Angie (Roger) Potter of Archdale, North Carolina; and brother-in-law, Robert J. “Bob” McCarthy of Logan, Ohio.

Besides her parents, Dalene was preceded in death by one brother, Christopher Joseph Baker (2015) and one sister, Tonya Kay McCarthy (2021).

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at the United Pentecostal Church in Nelsonville, Ohio with Reverend James H. Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow in Shaw Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask if contributions can be made to Roberts Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
