Margaret Anna (Hayes) Wolfe

Margaret Anna Wolfe, aged 89 of Logan, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born February 5, 1935 in Pomeroy, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Eva Mae (Wells) Hayes.

Margaret worked as a line operator at Logan Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company before retiring. She was also a proud member of the First Church Praise and Worship Center in Logan, Ohio.

Margaret is survived by her sons, Ed (Shirley) Sharp of Lancaster, Ohio, Norman (Sandy) Sharp of Logan, Ohio, and John Sharp of Logan, Ohio; daughters, Esther (David) Baker of Logan, Ohio, Linda (Mike) Edwards of Logan, Ohio, and Penny Phillips of Lancaster, Ohio; ten grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Cheryl) Hayes of Texas and Lloyd (Hollie) Hayes of Cookeville, Tennessee; and sister, Flora Yates/Karns.

Besides her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Orvan Hayes.

A funeral service for Margaret will be held at the First Church Praise and Worship Center in Logan, Ohio at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, officiated by Reverend Michael Martin, Reverend Richard Young, and Pastor Preston Keller. Entombment will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Good-Hope Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of service at the church on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.
