Marjorie Ellen Wright

Marjorie “Margie” Ellen Wright, age 87 of Lancaster, Ohio formerly of Logan, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Primose House in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born December 19, 1933, in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Albert and Eliza Mae (Coffee) Kornmiller.

Margie was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lancaster, Ohio. She was a former nurses’ aide and ended her career as the administrative assistant to the Director of Nursing at the Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan, Ohio. Margie greatly enjoyed baking.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Boyd Edward Wright Jr.; three sons, Kevin M. Wright of Apex, North Carolina, Troy M. Wright of Louisville, Kentucky, Boyd Mitchell “Mitch” (Leigh Ann) Wright of Orlando, Florida; one daughter, Traci Mae (Roger) Lattimer of Rockbridge, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, June Hall and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Margie was preceded in death by three sisters, Clarabelle Dunn, Mary Redd and Jean Mason; and infant brother, Theodore Kornmiller.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2021 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with Pastor John Davidson officiating.

Burial will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Good-Hope Twp., Hocking County, Ohio.

Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
