Mark Fredrick Ludwin

Mark Fredrick Ludwin, aged 61 of Logan, Ohio, formerly of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away at home on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Born March 2, 1965 in Bay Village, Ohio, he was the son of Daneen (Andrews) Hirbe and the late Fred Ludwin.

During life, Mark worked as a registered nurse for OhioHealth Berger Hospital in Circleville, Ohio. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mark graduated from Sylvania South High School in its Class of 1983. Mark was also a member of the Logan Moose Lodge 873 and Logan Amvets Post 1776. Mark loved to be outside, whether he was golfing, hunting, fishing, grilling for his family, or spending time with his dogs. Mark enjoyed playing hockey, coaching his children’s soccer teams, and refereeing soccer games. He was well known for his singing. Mark would sing to his patients and anyone else that was lucky enough to be around him. He was the kind of friend that you would want to be, gladly helping others without expecting anything in return.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sherrie Ludwin; son, Shaun (Melissa) Ludwin of Pickerington, Ohio; daughters, Erin (Clay) Morgan of Lancaster, Ohio and Paige (Tyler) Campbell of Etna, Ohio; four grandchildren, Hank, Jack, and Gwen Morgan and Claire Campbell; sister, Kelly (William) Rish; and niece and nephew, Emily and Andy Rish.

Aside from his father, Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ester and Stanley Ludwin and Dan and Dorothy Andrews.

Calling hours will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 with an Appalachian Ohio Nurse Honor Guard service being held at 7:30 PM.
