Martha Ann Lehman Johnson, aged 94 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at the Carlin House in Logan, Ohio on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Born August 10, 1930 in Green Township, Hocking County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Warner Jacob and Ruby Constance (Baker) Lehman.
During life, Martha worked as a teacher at East Elementary School in Logan, Ohio for 20 years before retiring. She was also the Logan-Hocking School District Librarian. Martha had previously worked as a colorist for Humphrey Studio in Logan and at Lehman’s Hardware Store, as well as serving in various clerical roles throughout her life. A loving homemaker, Martha’s unwavering support and devotion to her husband and children allowed them to fulfill their lives’ ambitions.
Martha is survived by her sons, Dr. George Warner (Jeanne) Johnson of Logan, Ohio and Mark Richard (Sandy) Johnson of Parma, Ohio; daughter, Jennifer Jay (George) Woollacott of Bellefontaine, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, Melissa, George C., Bryan M., Mark H., Anne, Sara, Lora, Adam, Sandy, Heather, Myriah, and Andrea; numerous beloved great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Jacob W. Lehman of Olympia, Washington.
Aside from her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, George B. Johnson (May 30, 2025); daughter, Ann Johnson; and sisters, Maxine L. Trippy and Betty Jean Holloway.
A funeral service celebrated by her loving family will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 11 AM until time of service on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
