Martha Jane (Blosser) McCune-Peacock

Martha Jane McCune-Peacock, age 89 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio.

Martha was born September 23, 1933 in Logan, Ohio to the late Lloyd Risley and Margaret Eudora (Wakeley) Blosser.

Martha had formerly worked at Logan Chakeres Theatre, as well as working as a telephone operator and clerical worker for Logan Clay Products Co. and the Scenic Hills Senior Center. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.

She is survived by her best friend, D. Lee Stump of Logan, Ohio; a sister, Sue Ann Blosser-Walker of Worthington, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Besides her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Lee McCune, and her second husband, Rolland Hoffman Peacock.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the funeral home with Deacon Donald A. Robers officiating. Burial will follow at New Fairview Memorial Gardens in Good Hope Township, Hocking County, Ohio.
