Melonie Ann Brierley, aged 72 of Logan, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Born September 4, 1952 in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Juanita May (Ballenger) Wray.
During life, Melonie had worked as a nurse’s aide at Hocking Valley Community Hospital and as a receptionist at Logan Barbell Club. She was a proud member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Logan, Ohio. She loved animals, (especially cats), as well as her plants, and especially treasured the many friendships she had during life. Melonie was the matriarch and rock of her family, and she will be sorely missed by those that knew her.
Melonie is survived by her daughter, Kelli Suzanne Brierley of Logan, Ohio; son, Zach Christian Brierley of Logan, Ohio; and grandchildren, Cassie Lee Brierley and Sabastian Wolfgang Brierley.
Besides her parents, Melonie was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Scott Brierley (2014); and brothers, Kelly Wray, Kevin Wray, and Tim Wray.
Per Melonie’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
