Melvin Franklin Mosure

Melvin Franklin Mosure, age 81 of Rockbridge, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Doctor’s Hospital West in Columbus, Ohio.

Born May 6, 1940 in Laurel Township, Hocking County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Floyd Harold and Opal Lodema (Meyer) Mosure.

Melvin had worked for Anchor Hocking Glass in Lancaster, Ohio for 36 years. He enjoyed reading, watching TV, woodworking and taking walks. Most of all, Melvin treasured the time he was able to spend with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Ann (Hoey) Mosure; son, Melvin Franklin “Frank” (Cyndi) Mosure of Corning, Ohio; two daughters, Bonnie (Jim) Reeves of Logan, Ohio and Debra Mosure of Gibisonville, Ohio; sister, Marilyn Wells of Rockbridge, Ohio; two grandchildren, Lindsey Reeves and Brandon Mosure; and four great-grandchildren, Kolby, Cheyenne, Avery, and Brantley Mosure.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Laurel Cemetery, Laurel Township, Hocking County, Ohio officiated by Rev. John T. Williams.
