Michael Elwood Bush

Michael Elwood Bush, aged 73 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Born August 4, 1949 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of the late Elwood Bush and Velma Kathleen (Smith) Guess.  

Mike had worked as an equipment operator in tree service and had operated a small engine repair shop.  He was a longtime Logan Band Booster volunteer.

He is survived by four sons, Charles A. Bush, Tracy A. (Susan) Bush, Terry (Michelle) Beekman and Shawn Beekman; children’s mother, Barbara Bush; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Robin Lee Rooker and Evelyn Lorraine Howdyshell both of Logan; several half sisters and brothers and special friend, Rose Martin.

Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son, Randy Michael Bush; four brothers, Guy Harlin Bush, Buck Bush, Carl Bush and infant brother, Roger Dale Bush; granddaughter, Krystle Lynn Beekman and grandson, Spencer Ryan Bush.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4-6:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Home, 60 W. Hunter St., Logan, Ohio 43138.
