Michael David Cook, aged 78 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Born August 2, 1945 in Miami, Florida, he was the son of the late Henry F. and Mildred E. (Kelly) Cook.
Michael worked for Hocking College before retiring. He was also a member of the First Church Praise and Worship Center in Logan, Ohio.
Michael is survived by his wife, Debra Sue Cook; daughters, Michelle Walsh, Kelly (Terry) Milam, and Courtney (Elijah) Williams; sons, Michael D. (Paula) Cook Jr., Ronald (Veronica Carbetta) Osborn, and Joseph Cook; grandchildren, Michael (Rebecca) and Jonathon Avery, Amber (Chris) Blackwell, Ross and Lorrie Pittman, and Alex, Kaley, Alanna and Declan Williams; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Pittman, Jackson Blackwell, and Zelda Avery; sisters, Judith Flood, Linda (Sonny) Ferguson, and Susan Marteney; and brother, Phillip Cook.
Besides his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Summer Cook; grandson, Johnny Pittman; and son-in-law, William Walsh.
A funeral service officiated by Reverend Michael Martin and Pastor Preston Keller will be held at 1:30 PM at the First Church Praise and Worship Center, 30750 Lake Logan Road, Logan, Ohio, on Friday, May 24, 2024. Burial will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Good-Hope Township, Hocking County, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 until time of service at the First Church Praise and Worship Center in Logan, Ohio.
