Mona Sue McGrath

Mona Sue McGrath, aged 74 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.  

Born May 20, 1948 in Mansfield, Ohio she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Lydia Ellen (Searles) Myers.  

Mona was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting, sewing and crocheting.  She was a member of The People’s Church in Logan, Ohio.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her beloved family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Earl Leroy McGrath; one son, Garry (Stephanie) McGrath of Logan and one daughter, Lesa (James) Azbell of Logan, Ohio; five grandchildren, Kaula (LJ) Funk, Brandon (Justine) McGrath, James “JT” (Melinda) McGrath, Jozee (Lucas) Cox and Kaitlynn McGrath; one stepdaughter, Michele Smith; thirteen great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sandra Blake, Patty Garcia and Janice Bowman; several nieces and nephews and best friend, Ginger Spier.    

Besides her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Edward Myers and two sisters, Betty Marjean Wray and Mary Lou Messer.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with Joshua N. Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in Shaw Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
