Mona Jean Wilkins

Mona Jean Wilkins, 90 of Logan, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at her residence in Logan, Ohio.

Born May 24, 1929 in Lancaster, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Curtis A. and Florence Mayme (Baum) Bowman.

Mona was a homemaker. She was a member of the Hocking Hills United Methodist Church and former member of the Logan Garden Club. Mona greatly enjoyed the game of Bridge.

Mona is survived by one son, Jack Gerald Wilkins Jr. of Logan, Ohio; two daughters, Julie Jaye Wilkins of Logan, Ohio and Janet Sue (Reese) Carpenter of Rockbridge, Ohio; four grandchildren, Candace (Chris) Enmen, Justin (Sarah) Wilkins, Janna Wilkins and Noah (Katelyn Hatem) Carpenter; five great-grandchildren, Avery and Jackson Wilkins, Landon and Liam Enmen, June Gracie and Reese A. Carpenter; one sister, Arlene Robb Totten of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gerald Wilkins Sr. (2017) and one sister, Lavone Bowman.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, Ohio with Reverend Jeremy J. Edwards officiating.
