Obituary
Mona Juanita “Skip” Lemon, aged 84, of Newark, Ohio, formerly of Logan, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Altercare Newark North.
Born December 17, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Lee and Margaret (Osborne) Berry.
Skip is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Ann Myers of Newark, Betty Smith of Thornville, Ohio and Mary Kerns of St. Louisville, Ohio; two granddaughters, Sharon Farrar and Sandra Jewell, both of Newark; two grandsons, Richard Corney of Washington State and Nichlous Corney of Newark; one step-grandson, Colt Smith of Thornville; three great-granddaughters, Kara Elizabeth Jewell, Nevaeh Cost and Aubri Smith, all of Newark; three great-grandsons, Ian Davis, Joseph Corney and Jack Corney, all of Newark; one great-great-granddaughter; and three sisters, Julia Coakley of Logan, Ohio, Christine West of Jackson, Ohio and Elizabeth Lee.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Edward Lemon (2018); brothers, William Wayne Berry and Emmanuel Berry; and sisters, Linda Kay Hubble and Connie Ball.
There will be no services at this time. Inurnment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Falls Twp. Hocking Co., Ohio.
