Nancy Jane (Kinser) Dawley

Nancy Jane Dawley, aged 85 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio.

Born October 16, 1937 in Logan, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Sadie Violet (Kelley) Kinser.

Nancy was a Logan High School graduate. She was a former employee of Western Electric AT&T with 37 years of service. For approximately twelve years, Nancy served as President of the Scenic Hills Senior Center in Logan. Nancy’s greatest joys in life were her beloved animals, spending time in the woods, mushroom hunting and planting flowers in her cemetery.

She is survived by her friend and caregiver, Joan Joseph of New Straitsville, Ohio; many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Keith Dawley; foster parents, Rosa and Eddie Lehman; brothers, Harry B. Kinser and Boyd Ellis Kinser; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lucy Kinser, Neil Dawley, Don Dawley and Doris Volk; niece, Nancy Jane Kinser; aunt, Susie Bell and good friend, Frank Joseph.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio with Pastor Mike Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in Dawley Wood Cemetery, Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the funeral home.
