Norma Jean (Lunsford) Abbott

Norma Jean Abbott, age 86 of Logan, Ohio passed away July 19, 2021 at Violet Springs Health Campus in Pickerington, Ohio.

Born January 25, 1935 in McKee, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Johnson) Lunsford.

Norma was a long-time security guard at the Myrtle Beach Mall in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and a member of the Open Door Freewill Baptist Church.

Norma is survived by two daughters, Beverly Lynne Jones of Logan, Ohio and Judith Gail Johnson of Lancaster, Ohio; one son, Edward Wayne Croucher of Logan, Ohio; one sister, Alma Combs of Berea, Kentucky; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Abbott; seven siblings, Archie, Ray, Herman, Luther, Irene, Esther, and Annie; and one grandson, Zachary Dean Edwards.

Private burial will take place at the Knollwood Cemetery in Falls Township, Hocking County, Ohio with Joshua N. Martin officiating.
