Norma Jean Carr

Norma Jean Carr, aged 85 of Chauncey, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.  

Born December 2, 1937 in Dover Township, Athens County, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Florence (McKee) Dicken.

Norma was a homemaker while also serving as a volunteer for the Chauncey School District. She was a member of the Golden Wing CB Club.

She is survived by her son, John Lawrence (Melody) Carr of Logan, Ohio; her daughter, Debbie Lambert of The Plains, Ohio; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lloyd Carr; her brother; and two sisters.

A private family memorial service and inurnment will be held at the Hilltop Cemetery in Millfield, Ohio at a later date.
