Paul Richard Geiger

Paul Richard Geiger, aged 90, of Logan, Ohio, passed away at the Carlin House in Logan, Ohio surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 4, 2026.

Born June 16, 1935 in Logan, Ohio, he was the son of the late Bernard Sylvester and Anna Leota (Factor) Geiger.

During life, Paul was a plumber for Geiger Brothers, his family business. He was a 1953 graduate of Logan High School. Paul was a proud member of St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio. He was also a Cub Master in the Boy Scouts of America and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 189. Paul had a great love for gardening, as well as working on the Geiger Family Farm. He also enjoyed spending time at the pond and the cabin that he built. Most of all, Paul loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Norma Jean (Daubenmier) Geiger; sons, Steve (Pam Porter) Geiger of Johnstown, Ohio, Greg (Julie Laribee) Geiger of Westerville, Ohio, and Keith (Carolyn Harwood) Geiger of Logan, Ohio; grandchildren, Justin Geiger, Drew Geiger, Ryan Geiger, Erica (Geiger) Moore, Stacie (Geiger) Howe, John Geiger, Kurt Geiger, Kelly (Geiger) Martin, Matt Geiger, and Renee (Geiger) Rose; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard; and his sisters Helen, Julia Jane, Dorothy, Teresa, and Anita “Sister Mary Bernard” Geiger, SND.

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father Jean-Luc Zadroga and Father Bill Hahn will be held at Saint John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio at 11 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio where a rosary service will be held at 6:30 PM.
