Paula Elizabeth (Canty) West

Paula Elizabeth West, aged 80, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Norwich Springs Long Term Care in Hilliard, Ohio, following a long illness.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents Betty (Rhoads) Canty (1943), Patrick Canty (1986) and Esther Canty (1992).

Paula was born on June 18, 1943 in Logan, Ohio. She was a life-long resident and active member of Saint John Catholic Church in Logan. She had recently relocated to Hilliard with her husband Bill to live close to family. She was a 1961 graduate of Logan High School and a 1990 graduate of Florida School of Massage. Paula enjoyed providing therapeutic massage to her many clients and traveling with her family.

Paula is survived by her husband of 54 years, C. William (Bill) West; three daughters, Dr. Kim May (Lyle Snide), Deborah Stutz (Brian), Julie May (Linda Whitcomb), and a son, Patrick West (Emily); five grandchildren, Morgan Stutz, Ian Stutz (Kaylee Thornley), Magdalene West, Genevieve West, and Benjamin West.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Saint John Catholic Church with Father Stephen L. Krile officiating.

Inurnment will follow immediately at Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.

Friends and family are invited to join the family in the St. John Social Hall for a luncheon following the service.
