Raymond Beaulieu Obituary

Raymond Edward Beaulieu, aged 93 of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026 at Reflections Retirement Community in Lancaster.

Born May 13, 1932 in Augusta, Maine, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Sadie Louise (LeClair) Beaulieu.

Ray was a 1950 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta. He served in the Korean War and retired after 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. Ray then worked for the Post Office for 20 years, retiring from the Columbus Branch. Ray loved playing golf, dancing with his wife, traveling, cooking and Notre Dame sports.

Ray is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Joyce Ann (Johnson) Beaulieu; two sons, Christopher (Jean Newland) Beaulieu of Maumee, Ohio and Craig (Vicky Toops) Beaulieu of London, Ohio; daughter, Renee (Jim) Bartholomew of Logan, Ohio; grandchildren, Allison (Kyle) von Carlowitz, Kevin Beaulieu, Joseph Beaulieu, Haley Beaulieu, Tori Beaulieu, Jacob Beaulieu, John (Meredith) Bartholomew, Mark (Ali) Bartholomew and Matt Bartholomew; five great-grandchildren with two more on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his son, Michael Beaulieu; grandson, Zachary Beaulieu; and three sisters, June (Bob) Roy, Gerene Webber and Theresa Gagnon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at St. John Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio, officiated by Fr. Stephen L. Krile.

Burial and a military service conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio.

Ray’s family would like to thank the Reflections Retirement Community staff and also the Summit Hospice staff for their care.
