Raymond Eugene Davis, aged 77 of Logan, Ohio, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Born October 20, 1946, he was the son of the late Raymond Raymel and Esther Ellen (Penwell) Davis.
Raymond was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart. Following his service, Raymond worked in law enforcement as a detective in Hocking County for 16 years, before retiring from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department as supervisor of courthouse security.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Karen Bernice (Bucholtz) Davis; sons, Shawn (Nicole ) Davis of Logan, Ohio and Steven Davis of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, Cindy (Jason) Dicken and Jayden Davis; great-grandchildren, Paisley Dicken, Cooper Dicken, and Roselynn Dicken; and sister, Arlene (James) Bagent of Logan, Ohio.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
