Richard Dean “Rich” Mace, aged 71 of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Born November 23, 1953 in Logan, he was the son of the late Leroy Edward and Emma Louise (Rupe) Mace Sr.
Rich retired following his long-time ownership of Mace’s Grocery in Logan. He loved everything about cars, including racing, restoration, and repair. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon (Brian) Call of Nelsonville, Ohio; stepson, Craig (Tracy) Wolfe of Albany, Ohio; brother, Leroy “Butch” Mace Jr. of Carbon Hill, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Rich was preceded in death by his wife, Susette (Scribner) Mace (2024); sisters, Vicky Mace and Tammy Hoyd; infant twin brother, Roger Mace; and stepdaughter, Kimberly Conrad.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, officiated by Joshua N. Martin.
Burial will follow in Elk Cemetery in McArthur, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 11 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
