Richard "Rick" Leroy Devore

Richard “Rick” Leroy Devore, aged 63 of New Straitsville, Ohio, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Born April 11, 1961 in New Straitsville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Herman Leroy and Imogene Catherine (Weaver) Devore.

During life, Rick worked as an industrial pigment salesman for over 30 years. He loved gardening, canning vegetables, laser printing, and milling wood from his property. He was a proud member of Antioch Alliance Church in Logan, Ohio.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Becky Devore; sons, Josh (Tiffany) Devore of East Liverpool, Ohio and Heath (Molly) Devore of Chester, West Virginia; daughter, Jennifer (Matt) Roberts of Helena, Montana; seven grandchildren, Caleb, Logan, Kaitlyn, and Alexa Devore, Corban and Carter Devore, and Gracie Roberts; sister, Ruthie Mohler of Logan, Ohio; stepson, Adam (Chelsea) Hatton; father and mother-in-law, Dan and Linda Scott; in-laws, Mitch and Capi Scott, Julie and Bob Frazier, Christy and Doug Boggs; and many special nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward “Eddie” Estep and William “Sandy” Estep.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Antioch Alliance Church, 11947 Antioch Road, Logan, OH 43138, officiated by Pastor Brian Neville. Interment will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens- Good Hope Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 12-6 PM at the Antioch Alliance Church in Logan, Ohio on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Rick’s family suggests flower arrangements may be made through their family-owned flower shop, Villager Flowers and Gifts in Columbus, Ohio.
