Ricky Dale Carter

Ricky Dale Carter, age 55, of Nelsonville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Born January 24, 1964 in Lebanon, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Elmer Clayde Carter.

Ricky worked as a laborer in housing construction and was also an auto mechanic. He most enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Ricky is survived by two sons, Bradley James Carter and Andrew Richard Carter; five daughters, Lisa Nicole Carter, Jamie Ann Carter, Kimberly Michelle Carter, Brandie Allison Carter, and Savannah Michelle Nicole Carter; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, all of Nelsonville; brother, Randy L. Carter of Lancaster, Ohio; and sister, Melissa Sonya-Tracy (Anthony) Pippin of Logan, Ohio.

Besides his father, Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Faye Carter (2019); daughter, Crystal Faye Carter; granddaughter, Hayley Faye Pidock; and grandson, Shawn Carter.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM, Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Asbury Cemetery, Starr Township, Hocking County, Ohio with Joshua N. Martin officiating.
