Robert Lawrence McKibben

Robert Lawrence “Bob” McKibben, aged 70 of Lancaster, Ohio, formally of Logan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.   

Born December 15, 1952 in Nelsonville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lawrence Clyde and Mary Jane (Largent) McKibben-Meyer.

Bob was a former draftsman and had served in the U.S. Army- PVT 1st Class. He was a 1971 graduate of Logan High School and graduated from Hocking College in Nelsonville. Bob had also worked for Anchor Hocking in Lancaster and for the Logan-Hocking School District.

He is survived by one daughter, Courtney Jane (Maen) Alrousan of Westerville, Ohio; lifetime partner, Glen Dora McKibben; one brother, Stephen Paul McKibben of Logan; niece, Sara (Adam) Lehman of Galion, Ohio; great-nephew, Rolf Lehman; great-niece, Harper Lehman; dog, Max; and kitten, Funny Bunny.

Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Ray McKibben; sister, Patti Ann McKibben; nephew, Stephen Paul “Wimpy” Tripp; and great-nephew, Christian Anthony Stephen Thomas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 24, 2023 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, officiated by Joshua N. Martin.

Burial will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Good-Hope Township, Hocking County, Ohio, where a military service will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
